Opening Ceremony of the Spring Press Festival 2013 (Year of the Snake)
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of February 2nd, 2013, the Nghe An Spring Press Festival, themed "Celebrating the glorious Party, celebrating the renewal of our homeland," was inaugurated in Anh Son district. The event was jointly organized by the Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association and the Department of Information and Communications. Attending the ceremony were: Mr. To Hong Hai - Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Journalists Association, Nghe An Newspaper, Nghe An Radio and Television Station, the Department of Information and Communications, and a large number of journalists and reporters from across the province.

Provincial leaders and leaders of newspapers and broadcasting stations cut the ribbon to inaugurate the 2013 Spring Press Festival in Anh Son district.
This year's Nghe An Provincial Spring Press Festival features central and local press agencies based in the province, such as: Nghe An Newspaper, Nghe An Labor Newspaper, Nghe An Police Newspaper, Military Region 4 Newspaper, Nghe An Provincial Radio and Television Station, Vietnam News Agency's Nghe An representative office, Thanh Nien Newspaper, Vietnam Agriculture Newspaper, etc., showcasing 100 newspaper titles with over 12,000 publications.

Spring Press Festival 2013
The Spring Press Festival is an opportunity for 370 members of the Journalists Association and 500 reporters from various media outlets and 43 bureaus in the province to meet, interact, and exchange ideas about their profession, reviewing the solid development of media organizations over the past year. This year's Spring Press Festival, held in Anh Son district (from February 2-4, 2013), is also a practical activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the district's establishment (1963-2013).

Before the opening of the Spring Press Festival, leaders of the Vietnam Journalists Association and several media outlets such as Nghe An Newspaper, Nghe An Police Newspaper, etc., visited and offered incense and flowers at the Vietnam-Laos Martyrs Cemetery in Anh Son district. On this occasion, the Organizing Committee of the Spring Press Festival also presented 15 gifts to families of policy beneficiaries in Anh Son district.
