Opening Ceremony of the 37th National Conference on Theoretical Physics

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 6th, in Cua Lo town (Nghe An province), the Center for Theoretical Physics, Institute of Physics, in collaboration with Vinh University, inaugurated the 37th National Conference on Theoretical Physics.

This is an annual conference, with the first one held in Da Lat in 1976. The conference aims to summarize and present the scientific research results of individuals and groups, and to introduce the development trends of theoretical physics and related fields over the past year, both domestically and internationally.

Associate Professor Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa delivered the opening remarks at the conference.

This conference was attended by 150 delegates, including professors, doctors, researchers from research institutes, and students from universities and colleges both domestically and internationally. The conference featured 150 presentations revolving around five main themes: High-energy physics, fundamental particles, nuclear physics, astronomy; Condensation physics, low-dimensional systems, nanostructures; Statistical physics, crystals, metals, alloys; Quantum physics, quantum optics, quantum information; and Soft materials physics and other related fields.

The 37th National Conference on Theoretical Physics was attended by 150 delegates from Vietnam and abroad.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa - Rector of Vinh University, emphasized: The 37th National Conference on Theoretical Physics held in Nghe An is an opportunity for faculty and teachers to meet and exchange knowledge, academic insights, and teaching experiences with leading physics professors from Vietnam and abroad. For students, it provides an opportunity to learn about new scientific knowledge and approach problems, which will be beneficial for their future studies and scientific research.

The 37th National Conference on Theoretical Physics will conclude on August 9th.
