Opening of the 37th National Theoretical Physics Conference

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 6, in Cua Lo Town (Nghe An), the Center for Theoretical Physics, Institute of Physics in collaboration with Vinh University opened the 37th National Theoretical Physics Conference.

This is an annual conference, the first conference was held in 1976 in Da Lat. The conference aims to summarize and present the scientific research results of individuals and groups, and introduce the development trends of Theoretical Physics and related fields in the past year in the country and in the world.



Associate Professor, Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa delivered the opening speech at the Conference.

This conference was attended by 150 delegates who are professors, doctors, postgraduates from research institutes and students from universities and colleges at home and abroad. The conference had 150 reports revolving around 5 main topics: High energy physics, elementary particles, nuclei, astronomy; Physics of condensed matter, low-dimensional systems, nanostructures; Statistical physics, crystals, metals, alloys; Quantum physics, quantum optics, quantum information; Physics of soft materials and other fields.



The 37th National Theoretical Physics Conference was attended by 150 domestic and international delegates.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa - Rector of Vinh University emphasized: The 37th National Theoretical Physics Conference held in Nghe An is an opportunity for staff and teachers to meet and exchange knowledge, academics, and teaching experiences with leading physics professors in the country and internationally. For students, there is an opportunity to be exposed to and familiarize themselves with new scientific knowledge, and to approach problems to serve their future studies and scientific research.

The 37th National Conference on Theoretical Physics will end on August 9.
