The 2022 Mobile Militia Platoon Sports Festival has the participation of nearly 600 officers and soldiers representing nearly 50,000 militia and self-defense forces of 21 districts, cities and towns in Nghe An province. The teams will compete in 4 events, including: formation command; militia and self-defense martial arts; practice handling situations to protect targets when there is disturbance or riot; compete in 3 combined military events (AK shooting, grenade throwing and armed running).

Through the competition, the purpose is to evaluate the leadership, direction, and building of the militia and self-defense force of the Party Committees, local authorities, and military agencies of districts, cities, and towns; at the same time, to check the actual training level, combat readiness, and command coordination of the staff; the ability to handle situations arising from practice; to evaluate physical training, operational skills, build discipline, and build a strong and comprehensive unit.

From there, we will learn from experience and continue to innovate the organization and training methods for the militia and self-defense force in the coming time to achieve better results and select a team to participate in the Military Region Sports Festival.
