From April 11-13, 42 commanders and political commissars from 21 district, city, and town military commands had to undergo a general knowledge test on the Party's viewpoints and guidelines in local military and national defense work; knowledge of operational planning, combat readiness, logistics, technical, and financial work; and practical preparation of resolutions for leading defensive combat tasks; drafting defensive combat plans; shooting with K54 pistols; and individual drill without weapons.

The competition aims to assess the level and capabilities of the Commanders and Political Commissars of the Military Command Boards of districts, cities, and towns in advising and leading the implementation of local military and national defense tasks, serving as a basis for determining the content of training to improve the quality of officers in the following years.

This year's competition, the general knowledge section was conducted using multiple-choice software provided by Center 1 - 86th Command and the Information Technology Department - 4th Military Region Staff. The multiple-choice content accommodated a mixed exam format with multiple subjects tested simultaneously, conducted with various candidates in the same examination room.

The Nghe An Provincial Military Command is the first unit in Military Region 4 to implement computer-based multiple-choice testing. Following the competition, this software will be widely deployed for competitions held by agencies and units throughout the Military Region to objectively, realistically, and transparently evaluate the results of these competitions.
