Con Temple Festival is one of the oldest festivals in Nghe An. This is a meaningful event to preserve and promote traditional cultural values, the morality of "remembering the source of water" of the nation, and at the same time is an opportunity for Hoang Mai to promote the tourism potential and the beauty, culture of the homeland, the people of the town to the majority of people and tourists. This year's festival is held over two days, January 20/21 (Lunar calendar), with many exciting activities in the ceremonial and festival parts. The ceremonial part includes the opening ceremony, the praying for fish ceremony, the offering ceremony, and the thanksgiving ceremony. The festival part includes boat racing, pole pushing, volleyball, elephant and horse processions. In addition, there are also activities such as the singing contest of the starling bird, and an art photo exhibition about the people and nature of Hoang Mai town.
