Opening Ceremony of the 2013 European Film Festival in Ho Chi Minh City

The Belgian film "The Fairy" was screened as the opening film of the European Film Festival on the evening of May 15th in Ho Chi Minh City.

Participating in the European Film Festival in Vietnam 2013, taking place from May 17-26, the Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation (Belgium) in Vietnam will present the film entitled "The Fairy". The film is directed by Dominique Abel, Fiona Gordon and Bruno Romy.

The film was described by the French magazine Nouvel Obs as a truly joyful poem, full of tenderness and humor, in which innocence and optimism are expressed through incredibly skillful visual choreography; the film "The Fairy" is a collection of pure happiness. Before reaching Vietnamese audiences, the film had already won numerous international awards.

"The Fairy" was screened at the opening of the 2013 European Film Festival in Ho Chi Minh City on the evening of May 15th. Following that, the film was shown in Hanoi on May 18th and 20th, and in Da Nang on May 18th.
