Opening of the U13 School Football Festival qualifying round

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 17, at Nghi Loc district stadium, Yamaha Motor Vietnam Company coordinated with Thieu nien tien phong Newspaper and 24h Sports Joint Stock Company to organize the U13 School Football Festival.

Attending the event were Journalist Nguyen Tran Chau - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of TNTP Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the U13 School Football Festival; Mr. Luu Duc Thuyen - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training. 16 football teams from secondary schools in Nghi Loc district participated.

This year's U13 School Football Festival is organized based on the Japanese talent search model, and Japanese football has found and trained many football players in these tournaments. In addition, the organized activities also aim to create a professional and systematic playground, with a noble and pure sportsmanship spirit. Through the tournament, many children in the U13 age group will have the opportunity to freely demonstrate their talent and passion for football; helping football managers find talent to train and nurture football players for the future.

BTC gives flags to football teams.

After the opening ceremony, 16 teams from localities in Nghi Loc district entered the competition applying the 7-a-side competition rules in a knockout format, each match takes place in 2 halves, each 25 minutes. The Organizing Committee will select the 2 teams with the highest achievements to participate in the National Finals which will take place in Hanoi in early June. The winning team will be sponsored by Yamaha Motor Vietnam Company for a tour in Japan. The tournament takes place in 3 days, April 17-19.
