Opening of a grocery store.

(Baonghean)On the morning of October 12th, the "Green Song Lam" self-help group of people living with HIV held a ceremony to launch the Green Song Lam Cooperative and simultaneously inaugurated a food and grocery store at 15 Nguyen Viet Xuan Street, Vinh City.

This is the first business model for a group of people living with HIV, founded by them in our province. It provides stable employment for people living with HIV, helps them improve their health and well-being, and also serves as a platform for raising awareness about HIV prevention in the community.

With initial support of 40 million VND and encouragement from organizations such as the Community Health Promotion Center, the Vinh City Red Cross Society, the CHP Project, CPI... and several businesses, the 10 members of the Cooperative hope to widely promote Nghe An's food products to consumers and receive more support and sharing from the community.
