Opening of a food and grocery store
(Baonghean) -On the morning of October 12, the "Green River" Self-Reliance Group of HIV-infected people held a launching ceremony for the Green River Cooperative and opened a food and grocery store at No. 15 Nguyen Viet Xuan Street, Vinh City.
This is the first business model for the HIV-infected community and was founded by them in our province, creating conditions for HIV-infected people to have stable jobs, helping them improve their health and spirit, and at the same time being an address for propaganda and raising awareness about HIV prevention for the community.
With initial support of 40 million VND and encouragement from organizations such as: Center for Community Health Promotion, Vinh City Red Cross, CHP Project, CPI... and a number of businesses, 10 members of the Cooperative hope to widely promote Nghe An food products to consumers and receive more help and sharing from the community.
