Opening of the 4-star Muong Thanh Cua Lo Hotel

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of March 30, 2015, in Cua Lo coastal town, Muong Thanh Hotel Group officially cut the ribbon to inaugurate the 4-star Muong Thanh Cua Lo Hotel.

Attending the opening ceremony from the central government were: Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue - Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Head of the Central Economic Committee; Mr. Vu Van Thanh - Director of the Hotel Department, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism. From the provincial leadership were: Mr. Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives from Cua Lo Town, provincial departments and agencies, and a large number of tourists from within and outside the province.

Muong Thanh Hotel Group is currently the owner of the largest private hotel chain in Vietnam, with a system of 37 hotels and hotel projects meeting 3, 4, and 5-star standards across the country. Muong Thanh Cua Lo Hotel is the tallest building with 27 floors, located in the town center on Binh Minh Street, next to Cua Lo beach.

On December 25, 2014, Cua Lo received the Decision recognizing it as a coastal tourism city. The goal for 2020 is to "build and develop the town into a civilized and prosperous tourism city," on par with major tourist destinations nationwide. As part of this transformation, the opening of Muong Thanh Cua Lo affirms the dedication and efforts of the Muong Thanh Group in contributing to the overall development of Cua Lo tourism.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the provincial leadership, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - acknowledged the contributions of the Muong Thanh Hotel Group over the years in investing in and developing tourism in Nghe An. He also stated that the Group's opening of its first modern 4-star hotel in Cua Lo coastal town before the 2015 tourist season will create a highlight for the Group's subsequent activities throughout the 2015 tourist season.
