(Baonghean.vn) - On November 17, Tan Hiep Phuong Company Limited officially held the opening ceremony of Ngoc Linh Ginseng Showroom Kon Tum (NLKT) in Nghe An. This is the agent introducing and selling genuine products from Ngoc Linh Ginseng - the first store in the North Central region.

The history of Ngoc Linh ginseng originated as a “hidden medicinal plant” of the Xo Dang ethnic group on the mysterious Ngoc Linh mountain in Kon Tum province. Kon Tum Ngoc Linh Ginseng Joint Stock Company is the largest ginseng growing enterprise in Vietnam with 470 hectares, producing millions of seedlings annually. The company was assigned by Kon Tum province nearly 5,000 hectares of land to continue expanding the scale of planting.
After 20 years of cultivation, on January 11, 2018, Kon Tum Ngoc Linh Ginseng Joint Stock Company officially launched products under the brand name K5 - NLKT Ginseng with the mission of preserving the original genetic resources of ginseng and protecting the forest. In September 2018, NLKT Ginseng Joint Stock Company was honored to welcome Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc to visit Ngoc Linh Ginseng garden and confer the title of Ngoc Linh Ginseng as "Vietnam's National Treasure".
