Upgrading skills for Project team members

On the same day, the Ministry of Home Affairs held the Opening Ceremony of the Training Course to improve state management knowledge and skills for all members of the 600 Commune Vice Chairmen Project.

The training course took place from June 24-27, with 5 topics: Economic development in communes; Cultural and social development in communes; Skills in organizing and running meetings of the People's Committee at the commune level; Skills in planning and organizing the implementation of plans for Vice Chairmen of the People's Committee of communes; Some policies for commune officials.

The above contents are built based on the results of testing and evaluating the performance of team members, combined with a survey on the knowledge needs that need to be further trained for Project team members after receiving the task.

This training course will provide team members with general management knowledge and state management at the commune level in particular, as well as discuss how to handle typical situations that often occur in the practice of management and operation of the work of the Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee in the locality, thereby helping trainees grasp and apply effectively in actual work.

This is also an opportunity for team members to exchange and learn experiences from different regions to supplement experiences, lessons, and good practices to apply in their locality.

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Tien Dinh, Head of the Steering Committee of Project 600 Vice Chairmen of the commune, praised the results achieved in Phase I of the Project.

"580 team members are currently assigned as Vice Chairmen of Commune People's Committees in 63 poor districts and have been able to access the work of Vice Chairmen of Communes and implement many socio-economic development projects, completing assigned tasks, and being recognized and highly appreciated by local Party committees, authorities and people," the Deputy Minister affirmed.
