Opening of the National Information, Command, Operation Center and Reporting Information System
On the morning of August 19, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, the Government Office held the opening ceremony of the National Reporting Information System, the Information, Command and Operation Center of the Government and the Prime Minister and announced the 1,000th online public service on the National Public Service Portal.

After a period of construction, with the approval of the Prime Minister, on August 19, the opening ceremony of the National Reporting Information System, Information Center, and the Government and Prime Minister's Command and Control Center was held. On the same day, the 1,000th public service will be integrated into the National Public Service Portal (NPSP) after more than 8 months of operation.
The ceremony was held at the Government Information and Command Center located at the Government Office and online to 63 points in provinces and cities and some practical experience points in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Ninh, and the Incident Response and Search and Rescue Operation Center.
The operation of the National Reporting Information System and the Information, Command and Operation Center of the Government and the Prime Minister is considered an important highlight of innovation, changing the direction and operation method from being based on information and data on paper documents to being based on digital data.
The Information Center, the command and control center of the Government and the Prime Minister, is connected to the command centers, reporting information systems, national databases, information systems, specialized databases of ministries, branches, and localities, becoming one of the core components of the smart digital infrastructure. From the Center, the Prime Minister and members of the Government can monitor and inspect activities in each field managed by ministries, branches, and localities. At the same time, through digital data, visual images, and online, it helps Government leaders to directly direct and control ministries, branches, localities, and in the field.
At the opening ceremony, delegates will experience the National Reporting Information System, the Information Center, the direction and operation of the Government and the Prime Minister, including an introduction to the interface, components, features and functions, and the meaning of the system; information display and connection to the database system of ministries, branches, and localities with important indicators...
At the ceremony, the Prime Minister will work and give direct instructions to leaders of a number of localities and agencies at the following locations: Binh Phuoc, Quang Ninh, Thua Thien-Hue and the National Search and Rescue Operation Center.
According to Minister and Head of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung, following the outstanding events in the construction of e-Government in recent times, the inauguration of the National Reporting Information System and the Information, Command and Operation Center of the Government and the Prime Minister will be an important highlight in the journey of building and developing e-Government; demonstrating the determination to reform administration, promote the application of IT in management activities, gradually eliminate work processing by paper document systems, and innovate the direction and operation methods towards a paperless Government.
Also on August 19, the Government Office will announce the integration of three online public services of interest to people and businesses on the National Public Service Portal. These are the 1000th public service: Declaration, payment of registration fees and submission of online car registration forms; public service number 999: Connecting registration for adjustment of compulsory social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance and reporting on changes in labor situation; and public service number 998: Payment of compulsory social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, occupational accident and disease insurance.
After more than 8 months of operation, the National Public Service Portal has connected with 18 ministries, agencies, 63 provinces and cities, 8 banks, payment intermediaries, and e-wallet service providers; is preparing to integrate and provide 1,000 online public services; has nearly 56.4 million visits, more than 220,000 registered accounts; over 14 million records have synchronized status, over 260,000 records have been processed. The total social cost saved when implementing public services is estimated at more than 13,000 billion VND/year, of which the National Public Service Portal contributes over 6,700 billion VND/year.
