Free medical check-ups for 2,000 workers in industrial zones.
Nghe An is the first locality in the country to implement a plan to provide free medical examinations for 15,000 workers and laborers in 7 provinces/cities.
On the morning of November 17th, atIndustrial zoneVSIP, the Department of Building the Movement for National Security Protection - Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the Labor Relations Department - Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Conway Joint Stock Company, and Medlab Multi-specialty Clinic, organized a program to provide free medical examinations and health consultations for workers and employees, and encouraged them to actively participate in the nationwide movement for national security protection.

This is the initial activity in Plan No. 2146, which aims to provide free medical examinations for 15,000 workers and laborers in 7 provinces/cities, expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026.
Over the past period, the People's Public Security force has always stood alongside the working class through activities such as: disseminating legal information, building exemplary models in the nationwide movement to protect national security, notably the models: "Workers for National Security," "Safe Enterprises - Happy Workers," and self-governing security and order groups in industrial zones; along with many social welfare programs such as free medical examinations and treatment, housing support, livelihood support, and care for workers in difficult circumstances.

These activities clearly demonstrate the spirit of "Serving the People," contributing to the creation of a safe, civilized, and stable working environment; and at the same time spreading the movement of "All People Protecting National Security" among workers and employees in enterprises and industrial zones.
In his opening remarks, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen The Nam – Head of the Mass Mobilization Department, Department of Building the Movement for National Security Protection – Ministry of Public Security, emphasized: Workers and laborers are the core force in the cause of national development, the "silent soldiers" on the production front. Therefore, caring for the health and lives of workers is a task with profound political, social, and humanitarian significance.

In the context of deep integration, alongside opportunities for development, there are also many challenges regarding national security, labor safety, labor disputes, cybersecurity, social evils, etc. Therefore, the proactive participation of each worker in the nationwide movement to protect national security contributes to maintaining safety in enterprises, industrial zones, and residential communities. When workers are healthy, united, and vigilant, enterprises develop sustainably, localities are stable, and security and order are ensured at the grassroots level.
In that role, Lieutenant Colonel Dinh The Nam affirmed that the participation of each worker and laborer in the nationwide movement to protect national security is of paramount importance. Each worker is a "small fortress," a "gatekeeper" for the enterprise where they work and for the community where they live.

Sharing the same view, Mr. Cao Nguyen Hung – Vice ChairmanProvincial Labor UnionNghe An province affirmed that the program is an activity with profound humanitarian significance, aimed at caring for the health – the most valuable asset of workers, especially those who do not have the means to receive adequate and regular healthcare. At the same time, it is also a vivid testament to the concern of the Party, the State, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the working class.
During the program, 2,000 workers will receive a free health check-up package worth VND 1,900,000 per person, including blood cancer screening, thalassemia screening, ultrasound, general internal medicine examination, etc., helping workers to detect early health risks and thus receive timely care and treatment.

The free medical examination program contributes to improving the health, morale, and legal awareness of workers; creating motivation for workers and laborers to work and produce with peace of mind and actively participate in the nationwide movement to protect national security.
