(Baonghean.vn) - Existing for hundreds of years, the Holy Mother Temple in Nam Dan town is not only a famous Mother Goddess worshiping relic but also a unique architectural work.

In particular, the temple still preserves a unique ancient bell. On the top of the bell is designed with 2 dragon heads facing 2 sides. The body of the bell on 4 sides is engraved with 4 large Chinese characters "Van Am Chung Tu" (Van Am Temple Bell) along with a line of Chinese characters recording the year the bell was cast "Hoang Trieu Thieu Tri Tu Nien"... Along with the ancient bell are more than 100 ancient wooden blocks engraved with Chinese characters that have been carefully preserved. These wooden blocks are intact, with clear writing. The Holy Mother Temple is a unique architectural work, along with the relics in the Nam Bac Son relic complex, affirming the rich cultural and historical depth of an ancient land. Every year on the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month, the Temple Management Board solemnly organizes the Mother's Death Anniversary with many traditional rituals, attracting a large number of people and tourists from near and far to attend.
