Free cancer screening for nearly 400 workers in Nghe An

On the morning of April 20, Nghe An Education Trade Union held a launching ceremony for "Workers' Month", "Occupational Safety and Health Month" in 2019 and launched a special emulation campaign "Welcoming the 90th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Trade Union" at Nguyen Duy Trinh High School, Nghi Loc.

2019 is the 7th year of organizing Workers' Month, the 3rd year of organizing Occupational Safety and Health Month and the 90th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Trade Union.

This year, with the theme "Each grassroots union - One union member benefit", the organization of Workers' Month is associated with organizing activities to ensure occupational safety and hygiene and organizing emulation movements to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.

At the launching ceremony, Nghe An Education Trade Union visited and presented gifts to 52 cadres, teachers and workers in difficult circumstances, suffering from serious illnesses with the amount of: 33,500,000 VND; awarded funds to support the construction of 01 house and repair of 01 union shelter house; started the construction of a public house for teachers at Muong Ai Primary School, Ky Son with a total amount of nearly 01 billion VND; inspected occupational safety and hygiene at a number of school units.

At the same time, coordinate with Nghe An Oncology Hospital to organize free cancer screening for nearly 400 officials, teachers and workers.
