Free medical examination and medicine for 60 poor households and policy families in Tuong Duong

(Baonghean.vn) - On November 26, 2017, Golden City Joint Stock Company, Vinh Transport Hospital and Nghe An Newspaper organized free medical examination and medicine for poor people and policy households in Yen Na commune, Tuong Duong district (Nghe An).

The total cost of the program is 20 million VND, including the main activity of examining and providing health supplements for people. Within 1 session, more than 60 cases of poor households, policy families, and social protection in Yen Na commune were examined, provided health advice and provided medicine by doctors from Vinh Transport Hospital.

The free medical examination and medicine program is one of the annual cooperation activities between Nghe An Newspaper, Vinh Traffic Hospital and Golden City Joint Stock Company.

Yen Na is a commune in the inner area, about 30 km northwest of Tuong Duong district center. The whole commune has over 1,000 households with over 5,000 people, living in 9 villages, of which 2 Khmu villages are in particularly difficult circumstances, the commune's poverty rate accounts for 51%.

This is the 6th charity activity of the group in 2017. Previously, the group organized medical examinations and provided medicine in Nghi Kim commune (Vinh city), Ta Ca (Ky Son), Kim Son town (Que Phong), Mon Son (Con Cuong) and gave gifts to children in Van Chai hamlet, Hung Long commune (Hung Nguyen).
