(Baonghean.vn) - In anticipation of the 68th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27th, on the morning of July 25th, the Youth Union of the Nghe An Tuberculosis and Lung Disease Hospital organized free medical examinations and dispensed free medicine to war invalids at the Nghe An War Invalids Rehabilitation Center and the Nghe An Mental and Neurological War Invalids Rehabilitation Center.

Here, 150 wounded and sick soldiers were examined and diagnosed by more than 35 doctors and medical staff from the Nghe An Tuberculosis and Lung Disease Hospital's youth union. After diagnosis, all wounded soldiers received free medication or had their medical records transferred to higher-level hospitals. Simultaneously, they received advice and guidance on care, nutrition, and exercise to ensure their health.

The total value of this free medical examination and medication distribution program is over 20 million VND. The funding was donated by the hospital's staff and doctors.
