(Baonghean.vn) - The 9th National Phu Dong Sports Festival in 2016 will be held in Nghe An and Thanh Hoa at the end of July. Currently, repairs to the Vinh stadium are being urgently carried out to ensure it is ready for the opening day.

According to the plan for repairing, renovating, and upgrading Vinh Stadium approved by the Provincial People's Committee, the construction unit will proceed with the following main items: installing nearly 6,000 seats in grandstand B, gates A4 and A5, and repairing functional rooms in grandstands A and B. The investment cost for this project is over 10 billion VND and is expected to be completed before July 31, 2016.

Therefore, in home matches against Saigon FC, Long An, Dong Thap, Hanoi T&T, Than Quang Ninh, and S. Khanh Hoa BVN, Stand B will remain closed and no tickets will be issued to ensure the security and safety of spectators and construction workers.
After completion, the capacity of stand B at Vinh Stadium will be significantly reduced. Furthermore, many fans are concerned that installing seats without a roof will compromise their durability. In the meantime, the team has temporarily relocated the SLNA Supporters' Club to stands C and D at gate number 12.
