Urgently issue and implement the Resolution on the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels.
Regarding the Resolution on the arrangement of district- and commune-level administrative units for the 2023-2030 period approved by the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Assembly Chairman requested that agencies urgently review, complete, and strive to sign and certify the issuance of the Resolution within 1 week.

After 2.5 days of working with a positive, responsible and urgent spirit, the 24th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee completed all the contents of the proposed program and closed on the afternoon of July 14.
Specifically, the National Assembly Standing Committee has completed all 7 contents as planned in the proposed program, achieving quality.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly gave its opinions on summarizing and reviewing the implementation of Joint Resolution 525/2012/NQLT/UBTVQH13-DCTUBTWMTQVN dated September 27, 2012 on the contact of voters by National Assembly deputies; reviewed the report on the National Assembly's petition work in May and June 2023. At the same time, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly listened to the report and gave its opinions on the initial results of the supervision of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on "Implementation of Resolution No. 88/2014/QH13 and Resolution No. 51/2017/QH14 of the National Assembly on innovation of general education programs and textbooks"; gave its opinions on the draft Law on Roads and the draft Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; gave its opinions on summarizing the 5th Session and gave its initial opinions on the preparation for the 6th Session of the National Assembly; review and approve the draft Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels for the 2023-2030 period.
In his closing remarks, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue emphasized that the meeting documents had been carefully prepared by relevant agencies. Members of the National Assembly Standing Committee had spent time carefully studying the documents to give responsible opinions, contributing many valid opinions.
The National Assembly Chairman requested the Secretary General of the National Assembly, the Chief of the National Assembly Office and relevant agencies to promptly issue notices and conclusions of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the contents of the meeting so that relevant organizations and agencies can promptly organize implementation.

Regarding the Resolution on the arrangement of district- and commune-level administrative units for the 2023-2030 period approved by the National Assembly Standing Committee at this session, the National Assembly Chairman requested that agencies urgently review, complete, and strive to sign and certify the issuance of the Resolution within 1 week, as a basis for agencies and localities to organize implementation, ensuring progress according to regulations.
Acknowledging that the Government, ministries, branches, relevant agencies and organizations have closely coordinated with the agencies of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee to successfully organize the 24th session, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue emphasized that this is a step to continue preparing for the 6th session of the National Assembly, and noted that there is still much work to be done in the coming time, including the regular meetings in August and September of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the thematic meeting on law-making work, and the Conference of full-time National Assembly deputies.
The National Assembly Chairman requested the National Assembly Standing Committee and relevant agencies to continue to update and provide comments, and prepare both the content and organization of the 6th Session; believing that with the experiences accumulated since the beginning of the term and continuing to promote the spirit of effective coordination, the 6th Session will be carefully prepared and successfully organized, meeting the wishes and expectations of voters and people nationwide.
