Inauguration of the Martyrs Memorial of Cua Lo Town
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2017), on the morning of July 15, Cua Lo Town solemnly held the inauguration ceremony of the Martyrs Memorial.
Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The investment project to build the Martyrs Memorial of Cua Lo Town was approved by the People's Committee of Cua Lo Town in Decision No. 1002/QD-UBND dated May 11, 2015. The project is built on an area of nearly 4,500 m2, including items: Main platform, stele recording the names of martyrs of 7 wards, technical infrastructure system and auxiliary items such as: garden, drainage system, lighting system, decorative electricity, parking lot... with a total investment of 10.4 billion VND.

The main source of funding for construction is the budget and contributions from cadres, party members, civil servants, businesses, philanthropists and all local people.
After 18 months of construction, the project has been completed, handed over and put into use, right on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2017).
