(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 11, 2015, at Nam Cam Industrial Park in the Southeast Economic Zone, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee coordinated with Masan Group Corporation to organize the inauguration ceremony of the Masan Northern Food Industry Center Project in Nghe An. Attending were comrades: Ho Duc Phoc, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Xuan Duong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Xuan Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, along with comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Masan Group and the company's partners.

Implementing the business strategy of the enterprise, MASAN Group expands its market share in the Northern region. After a period of survey and research, Masan Group has decided to choose a location in Nam Cam Industrial Park, Nghe An province to invest in the project to build Masan's Northern Food Industry Center. The project is built on an area of 6.3 hectares, with a total investment of 1,200 billion VND. The project's goal is to build a production center for products in the spice industry, convenient foods and beverages of all kinds in the North Central and Northern regions of Vietnam.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Duc Phoc acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and endeavors of the investor, who placed their trust and overcame difficulties to complete the project on schedule. He emphasized: "The inauguration and operation of the project is an important milestone marking the development of Masan Group in Vietnam, and at the same time marking the development of the food processing industry of Nghe An province. The project is also an opportunity and a driving force for investment in the construction and development of the Southeast Economic Zone of Nghe An province". The Secretary happily announced that the Group is implementing two more projects in Nghe An, including an animal feed factory and the largest pig farm in Nghe An.

After nearly 1 year of implementation, the first products of the factory have been produced at the factory. Currently, the factory has 3 Omachi instant noodle production lines and 1 Chinsu fish sauce production line. The project will create about 1,000 jobs for workers and contribute an additional 3,000 billion VND to the budget of Nghe An in the next 10 years.
