Reward for the project to arrest a subject transporting 12,000 drug pills

(Baonghean.vn)- On May 14, 2016, Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Police and leaders of Ky Son district awarded the Ky Son District Police for their outstanding achievement in arresting a subject transporting 12,000 MTTH pills.

Previously, in the Noong De village area, Nam Can commune, Ky Son district police broke up Project 416D and arrested Xong Ba Dia, who was transporting a large quantity of drugs to Nghe An for sale. The seized evidence included 12,000 synthetic drug pills weighing 1,157g and an Exciter motorbike with license plate 37K1-066.18.

At the police station, the subject confessed to all his crimes. Xong Ba Dia is an important link in a large-scale transnational drug trafficking ring, and has colluded with drug traffickers from Laos to transport drugs into the province for consumption. The authorities have opened the seal and taken samples of the seized synthetic drugs for testing, while continuing to investigate and expand the case.

At the same time, the Director also noted that in the coming time, the District Police need to focus on strengthening the work of ensuring national security and maintaining social order and safety, first of all ensuring absolute safety for the election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term.
