Commendation for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in building new rural areas.

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of May 13th, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district held a conference to review the results of the past two years of implementing the national target program for building new rural areas and one year of implementing land consolidation and exchange according to Directive 08 of the Provincial Party Committee.

After one year of implementing land consolidation and exchange according to Directive 08 of the Provincial Party Committee, six communes have completed the land consolidation and exchange; the average size is over 500m2/plot; 27 communes have completed the implementation plan and project, and three communes, namely Quynh Thanh, Quynh Vinh, and Tan Thang, have not yet completed the implementation plan and project.

Certificates of commendation were awarded to collectives and individuals who achieved outstanding results in building new rural areas.

Regarding the New Rural Development program, after two years of implementation, the entire district has organized over 150 propaganda campaigns with 15,000 participants. The district steering committee, in coordination with the Fatherland Front and other organizations, launched the movement "All people unite to build a cultured life in residential areas associated with New Rural Development," and organized annual district-level emulation campaigns linked to the implementation of the "Quynh Luu joins hands to build New Rural Development" movement. The total capital mobilized and integrated for the program throughout the district is 1,411.5 billion VND, of which 1,252.2 billion VND is from the state budget. In addition, the people contributed and donated 104,382 m2 of land, including residential and production land, 2,531 m2 of boundary walls and architectural works, and over 115,483 man-days of labor. People also built and upgraded houses and auxiliary works themselves, estimated at over 170 billion VND. All communes have met at least 3 or more criteria, with the lowest achieving 6 criteria and the highest 15 criteria, including two communes that achieved 15 criteria: Quynh Hau and Quynh Luong…

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district awarded certificates of commendation to Quynh Xuan commune for its outstanding achievements in mobilizing people to donate land for rural road construction, and to 5 collectives (including Quynh Luong, Ngoc Son, Quynh Hau, Quynh Thach, and Quynh Dien communes) and 8 individuals for their achievements in implementing the national target program for building new rural areas.
