When cadres are exemplary and responsible

(Baonghean) - Block 2 Party Cell - Yen Thanh Town has 187 party members at the place of residence. With a large number of party members and residents, but continuously for 10 years (from 2001 to 2011), every year the Party Cell is recognized as the leading unit of the Town Party Committee, in which for 5 consecutive years (2006-2011) it is an excellent grassroots party cell of the district, awarded a certificate of merit by the Provincial Party Committee and is also a typical cultural unit awarded a certificate of merit by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

It is known that the Party cell of block 2 always takes care of building a clean and strong party cell in all aspects based on the 5 criteria set by the Central Committee. Thanks to the good implementation of the principles of democratic centralism, self-criticism and criticism, the Party cell always maintains its role as the leading nucleus of the block, the Party cell is united, the people are in consensus, and the cultural economy develops. In 16 inter-family groups, there are weak cadres who do not manage the work well, the secretaries and block leaders take turns to attend each unit's activities and directly participate with the inter-family groups. On the 26th of every month, the inter-family groups that clean the environment all have secretaries and hamlet leaders participating. They not only hold hands and show people how to do things, but also roll up their pants and work hard with the people. Thanks to the solidarity, consensus and exemplary role of the Party cell cadres, for more than 10 years, block 2 has not had any petitions beyond the level, 95% of households are recognized as Cultural Families, the block is a typical cultural unit of the town.

Regarding Block 2, meeting with cadres, party members and some people, almost everyone had the same opinion that Secretary Vo An Cu and Block Leader Nguyen Duc Hong are two exemplary cadres, united, dedicated to work and to the people. The two secretaries - block leaders always work side by side to take care of the block's work. Block Leader Nguyen Duc Hong confided: "Assigned by the Party cell and supported by the people, the block has the facilities and position it has today, but how to maintain the Party cell unit and the typical cultural block in the following years, 5 years, 10 years from now... is something we always worry about".

Asking Mr. Than (retired Colonel), Mr. Cu (retired Standing Member of the District Party Committee), Mr. Loi (District Chairman) who are citizens of Block 2, all answered: The reason why Block 2 Party Cell was able to do it and maintain its exemplary unit was based on the cadre work. Both Secretary Vo Anh Cu and Block Leader Nguyen Duc Hong were good cadres, exemplary cadres to lead the movement.
