(Baonghean.vn) - A fire broke out at a facility producing votive offerings for the 15th day of the first lunar month and then spread to a neighbor's house, burning down a Kia car, causing billions of dong in damage.

The fire broke out at around 4am on February 9 at the Tuan Nghiem gold paper shop, block 7, Mai Hung ward, Hoang Mai town, owned by Mr. Nguyen Trong Tuan.

At that time, people were sleeping when they discovered a burning smell and smoke coming from the 3-room warehouse of the facility, so they immediately informed the homeowner. Everyone shouted to each other to put out the fire, but because the warehouse was full of paper materials and goods, the fire flared up very quickly, continued to spread, threatening to burn the neighbor's house, burning down a nearby Kia car.

At this time, people immediately called the Fire Police Force No. 4. Upon receiving the news, Fire Police Force No. 4 dispatched 1 command vehicle, 2 specialized fire trucks with more than 30 officers and soldiers to the scene to participate in fire fighting and rescue.

By 7am, the fire was completely extinguished. The fire burned down the entire warehouse, a KIA car with license plate 36N 4447, and a motorbike, with initial damage estimated at up to a billion VND.

Currently, the investigation agency is examining the scene and investigating the cause of the fire./.
