Science proves that mobile waves do not affect the brain.
The harmful effects of mobile waves on health have just been proven to be completely untrue.
This information was just announced after testing by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIH) and the National Toxicology Program (NTP). These are two research centers based in the US.
This conclusion is based on tests on the harmful effects of electromagnetic waves. The subjects of the tests were laboratory mice. The mice and rats were not harmed after the experiment. However, some mice developed rare tumors.
However, the results of the test show that the electromagnetic waves generated by mobile phones are very unlikely to affect human health. There is no basis for concern about brain tumors due to continuous use of mobile phones.
Disagreeing with the above results, Dr. Otis Brawley, a medical officer of the American Cancer Society, said that the tests on mice do not reflect the impact of mobile phones on human health. Otis Brawley said that there is a link between mobile phones and cancer in people with poor health. Therefore, he said that mobile phone users should wear headphones to limit this condition.
The mice in the NIH and NTP experiment were exposed to electromagnetic radiation for nine hours a day for two years. The amount of radiation the mice were exposed to was only a small fraction of their lifetimes, said John Bucher of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, lead author of the study.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has poured $25 million into research to find out the impact of cell phones on human health. According to Dr. Jeffrey Shuren, an expert on radiation health at the FDA, the current safety limits of cell phones are at an acceptable level for human health.
