Approximately 550 delegates attended the Provincial Emulation Congress.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 17th, the Propaganda and Arts Subcommittee of the Organizing Committee for the Patriotic Emulation Congress of Nghe An province for the period 2010-2015 held a meeting to implement and review the preparation work.

Comrade Le Ba Hung, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Propaganda Department, and Head of the Propaganda and Arts Subcommittee, chaired the meeting; attending the meeting were members of the subcommittee and representatives of the leaders of relevant departments and agencies.

At the meeting, all members and assigned units expressed their determination to perform their tasks well in order to contribute to the success of the Congress.

The Provincial Emulation Congress for the period 2011-2015 will take place in September 2015 in Vinh City, with approximately 550 delegates and guests in attendance. The main activities at the Congress include: summarizing the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2011-2015; exchanging ideas among outstanding individuals; commending, honoring, and rewarding achievements; launching the emulation movement for the period 2016-2020; and electing the delegation to attend the National Emulation Congress.

At the meeting, the Propaganda and Arts Subcommittee disseminated specific tasks to its members; listened to and provided feedback on the preparations of various departments and units: The Department of Information and Communications was tasked with compiling the congress proceedings and the book "Examples of Good People and Good Deeds in the 2010-2015 Period," organizing press conferences, and directing media agencies to carry out propaganda before, during, and after the Congress. The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism was tasked with organizing arts programs and exhibitions showcasing the province's socio-economic, national defense, and security achievements in the 2010-2015 period.

The Nghe An Newspaper organized the creation of special pages and sections to publicize exemplary individuals and advanced models, as well as activities before, during, and after the congress, and published a special issue to celebrate the congress. The Radio and Television Station organized the creation of programs and sections, produced documentary films to publicize the congress, and organized live broadcasts of the exchange night featuring exemplary individuals and the official congress.

Comrade Pham Tien Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Deputy Head of the Sub-committee, reported on the preparatory work of the culture, sports and tourism sector.

Comrade Ho Thi Ngan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper, commented: The preparation of the book "Examples of Good People and Good Deeds in the period 2010 - 2015" is still slow; the selection of exemplary figures must be truly outstanding so that each exemplary figure truly serves as a role model for others to emulate.

Comrade Le Ba Hung requested that members of the subcommittee and relevant units actively carry out their assigned tasks and regularly report to the subcommittee for timely adjustments and guidance.

After listening to the contributions of the members and representatives of relevant departments and agencies, Comrade Le Ba Hung requested that the members and units actively prepare the assigned contents and tasks; regularly report to the head and deputy head of the subcommittee to promptly resolve any difficulties that may arise, in order to ensure the successful organization of the Nghe An Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress for the period 2010-2015.
