Block 6, Truong Thi Ward (Vinh City): Received the title of cultural block

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 11, officials and people of Block 6, Truong Thi Ward (Vinh City) held a ceremony to receive the title of Cultural Block.

In the early days of the bloc's establishment, there were many difficulties, the poverty rate was high compared to the city's average, the number of party members was small... In the face of these difficulties, the Party Cell, the bloc's Executive Committee and 202 households were determined to join hands and unite to build a strong and comprehensive bloc. Implementing well the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas" created a solid foundation for building the bloc to achieve the title of culture.

Up to now, after 18 years of construction and development, from a party cell with only 8 party members, it has now grown to 50 party members, always achieving the title of clean and strong. The poverty rate is only one household, no hungry households, the average income is from 1.5 - 5 million VND/month. The block has invested in building a spacious cultural house to ensure a synchronous cultural and sports institution.

Mr. Bui Quang Phuong - Head of the City Department of Culture awarded the decision to recognize the cultural block to the Executive Committee of Block 6.

Cultural, artistic and sports movements serve the spiritual needs and improve people's health. The rate of cultural families annually reaches 96% or more. People comply well with the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; 100% of families strive to practice a civilized urban lifestyle...
