Construction of 'rural youth bridge' begins in Thanh Chuong

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 10, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union coordinated with Thanh Chuong District Youth Union to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a rural bridge project in village 1B, Thanh Thinh commune, Thanh Chuong district.

The rural bridge youth project was built in village 1B, Thanh Thinh commune, Thanh Chuong district. Khe Mo bridge is 12m long and 6m wide with a total construction investment of nearly 1 billion VND, drawn from the central budget, invested by the Central Youth Union Secretariat.

Thanh Thinh commune youth union launched a campaign to clear trees in the area where Khe Mo bridge was built.

This is a rural youth bridge supported by the Central Youth Union, built in an area with difficult travel conditions due to the terrain having many small rivers and streams. It is expected to be completed next October.

After completion and operation, Khe Mo Bridge will create favorable conditions for people to develop production, minimizing risks when natural disasters and storms occur. At the same time, the project demonstrates the role and responsibility of the Youth Union in social security issues, as well as joining hands in building new rural areas in localities.
