In recognition of the brave and determined spirit in the fight against drug crimes of comrade Nguyen Dinh Tai, the Border Guard Command has decided to promote the rank of Lieutenant to Captain ahead of schedule; the Central Youth Union awarded the "Brave Youth" badge and the specialized agency is currently preparing a dossier to propose awarding the First Class Military Exploit Medal.
It is known that comrade Nguyen Dinh Tai's family is in difficult circumstances, with a father who is a war invalid, a grandmother who is nearly 90 years old and is a Heroic Vietnamese Mother, a wife who is a teacher and 2 young children living with their parents in a level 4 house in Thanh Thinh commune, Thanh Chuong district.
To help comrade Nguyen Dinh Tai's family have a stable place to live and feel secure while receiving medical treatment, the Nghe An Border Guard Command decided to build a comrade house. The house was started to be built in comrade Tai's hometown with a budget of over 300 million VND and material contributions from the family and locality.
The house is expected to be completed and put into use during the Lunar New Year 2019.
This is also a meaningful project of the officers and soldiers of Nghe An Border Guard to practically celebrate the 30th anniversary of the People's Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2019) and the 60th anniversary of the Border Guard Force's tradition day (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2019).
