Groundbreaking ceremony for building a house of gratitude for the mother of a martyr

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 15, the Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs in coordination with the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, Vinh Branch, started building a house of gratitude for Ms. Nguyen Thi Huu, 101 years old, mother of Martyr Hoang Sy Vinh in Hamlet 19, Dien Phu Commune, Dien Chau District.

The Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of the province and the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, Nghe An branch, presented 50 million VND in support to Ms. Nguyen Thi Huu.

Currently, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huu is living in a dilapidated house with her daughter-in-law and grandson. In addition to the 50 million VND supported by the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, Vinh Branch, her relatives and neighbors also supported Ms. Nguyen Thi Huu's family to build a new house, which is also a place to worship martyrs, with a total value of 100 million VND.
