Groundbreaking ceremony for building a house of gratitude for martyrs' mothers in Quynh Luu district

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 17, the Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs in coordination with Nhon Trach II Petroleum Power Company, Dong Nai province held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a house of gratitude for Ms. Hoang Thi Lan, 89 years old, mother of martyr Ho Quoc Dung, hamlet 6, Quynh Doi commune, Quynh Luu district.

Also attending were leaders of Quynh Luu district and leaders of Quynh Doi and Quynh Thach communes.

The Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs and leaders of Quynh Luu District People's Committee presented 50 million VND to Ms. Hoang Thi Lan.

Ms. Hoang Thi Lan is currently living alone in a small house that is now in disrepair. Through the appeal and mobilization of the Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs, Nhon Trach II Petroleum Power Company has supported Ms. Lan with 50 million VND. In addition, the district and commune authorities and relatives will also support Ms. Hoang Thi Lan to live in a new, spacious house and a more dignified place to worship martyrs.

Also this morning, the Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs in coordination with Nghe An Post and Telecommunications Company held a ceremony to hand over a house of gratitude to Ms. Le Thi Sen, Hamlet 6, Quynh Doi Commune - mother of martyr Kieu Ngoc Chuong. The house has a total value of 65 million VND, of which Nghe An Post and Telecommunications Company supported 50 million VND, and Quynh Luu District People's Committee supported 10 million VND.

The Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs, along with representatives of VNPT and leaders of Quynh Luu district, presented money to support house building for Ms. Nguyen Thi Duong, in Hamlet 4, Quynh Thach Commune, Quynh Luu District.

On this occasion, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs also held a ceremony to hand over a house of gratitude to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Duong, Hamlet 4, Quynh Thach Commune, mother of martyr Nguyen Sy Huong. The house has a total value of 150 million VND, of which Nghe An Post and Telecommunications Company supported 50 million VND, the rest came from the district and commune budgets and contributions from relatives.
