"Never thought I would do a startup in Vietnam..."
Sharing at the startup festival, Mr. Tran Dang Van - co-founder of Butterfly Hub said: “I never thought of making a product in Vietnam until I received a call from VIISA. With the capital support from VIISA, I no longer have to run around looking for places to borrow. In addition, the support of market experience from VIISA has helped me and many startups overcome the initial difficult period.”
Previously, based on criteria on human resources, feasibility of ideas and the ability to scale up the project's business, VIISA selected 8 startups for a 3-month training round. The startups received an investment of 30,000 USD from VIISA, including 15,000 USD in cash and other expenses such as housing, office, and technology. Over the past 3 months, these startups have also been trained in many important startup skills such as detecting and searching for potential customers, raising capital, sales, etc.
After 3 months of training, VIISA has selected 7 best startups to present at the VIISA Investment Day event. Mr. Adrian Tan - Training Program Director of VIISA commented: "The Investment Day is the result of the hard work of the consulting team and startups in VIISA's training program over the past time. That will encourage VIISA to continue to build more new startups for Vietnam and the region."
