Inspiring love of books from free reading point in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - With the desire to create a reading movement for people, especially teenagers, a group of young people in Nghe An have implemented the Nghe An Free Reading Point project under the "Vietnam Reading Point" project being implemented across the country.

After more than 2 months of preparation, on the morning of September 30, more than 40 young people gathered at a coffee shop on Phong Dinh Cang Street (Vinh City) to inaugurate the Nghe An Reading Point project. This is the first reading point under the “Vietnam Reading Point” project to be implemented in Nghe An.
Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung - head of Nghe An Reading Point project said that the project with the slogan "Inspiring reading - Connecting love - Spreading knowledge" hopes to bring books to those in need, creating a space for book lovers to exchange and spread reading culture, towards a generation of knowledgeable Vietnamese.

Since this is a community project, the books are contributed by members or book lovers. The target audience of the project is all people who share the same love for books. Any person who comes to the reading point can read or borrow books for free.
On the very first morning, Nghe An Reading Point received more than 200 books in all fields: children's books, business books, skill books, literature books...
After being deployed at a reading point in Vinh city, the project will soon continue to open another reading point in Dien Chau district.
The project “Vietnam Reading Points” is a journey to connect book lovers in 63 provinces and cities together, forming teams according to the provinces. Each team is a bridge, each individual is a connector.
Together, these bridges build “Free Reading Points” to bring books to those in need, creating a space for book lovers to exchange and spread reading culture, aiming for a generation of knowledgeable Vietnamese. Each bridge is a lighthouse that needs those who live, study and work there to light and keep it burning.
