Strange stalactite block in newly discovered cave
The newly discovered cave has many beautiful stalactites and strange formations. The cave is more than 1.5km long, the highest point is about 30m, and people temporarily named it Son Nu Cave.
On September 7, Mr. Hoang Trong Duc - Chairman of the People's Committee of Truong Son Commune, Quang Ninh District, Quang Binh Province said that the People's Committee of Truong Son Commune is making a report on the discovery of a new cave to develop community tourism, in order to create more jobs for the Van Kieu people.

Previously, people discovered a beautiful cave in the middle of the Truong Son jungle. After receiving the news, Mr. Duc and the people explored this cave.
According to Mr. Duc, the area where the cave was discovered belongs to Diu Do village. After the discovery, people temporarily named this cave Son Nu.

Son Nu Cave is more than 1.5 km long, the highest point of the cave is about 30m. To reach this cave, you have to walk about 1.5 km to Diu Do village, then spend about 1 hour crossing the sharp cat ear rock mountain, below is a stream with beautiful scenery, in the cave there are many unique stalactites, strange structure, in the summer the water is not high, people row rubber boats from the front door to the back door for about 1 hour.

Mr. Hoang Trong Duc also said that during the recent survey trip, he saw with his own eyes the white stalactites in the cave flowing down, spreading out like a giant, soft, sparkling white silk.

“We have submitted a report to the district level and proposed calling for tourism investment in the commune. We must find large enterprises to invest in order to be effective. The tourism plan in this cave area is very feasible but mainly serves tourists in the summer because it is very dangerous to go there during the rainy season,” Mr. Duc added.
