One enforcement officer from the Civil Enforcement Agency has been prosecuted.

Mr. Huynh Kim Binh, an enforcement officer at the Civil Enforcement Sub-Department of Phong Dien District (Thua Thien-Hue Province), has been prosecuted for "abusing his position and authority to appropriate property."

On August 13th, the Civil Enforcement Department of Thua Thien-Hue province confirmed that Mr. Huynh Kim Binh, an enforcement officer of the Civil Enforcement Sub-Department of Phong Dien district (Thua Thien-Hue), has been prosecuted by the Investigation Agency of the Supreme People's Procuracy for the act of "Abusing his position and power to appropriate property".

Previously, the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Enforcement Department, in coordination with the Department of Prosecution and Investigation of Cases of Violations of Judicial Activities, Corruption, and Abuse of Power within the Judicial System (Department 6 – Supreme People's Procuracy), conducted an investigation into the violations of Mr. Huynh Kim Binh.

It is known that from 2011 to 2016, Mr. Binh abused his authority in collecting enforcement fees, issuing receipts with insufficient funds as required, and using the remaining receipts to collect enforcement fees from others, thereby misappropriating a total of over 53 million VND for personal use.
