Previously, at around 0:00 on March 22, Department C04 presided over and coordinated with Khanh Hoa Provincial Police and other relevant agencies to dismantle a criminal organization illegally producing synthetic drugs in Khanh Hoa, led by Chinese people in collusion with Vietnamese people.
As a result of the search at the drug factory and two other locations, the Task Force seized 1.4 tons of ketamine of very high purity, along with nearly 80 tons of chemicals, enough grounds to temporarily detain 9 subjects, including 4 Chinese, 3 Taiwanese (China), and 2 Vietnamese. The subjects admitted to illegally producing drugs.

The methods of the members of this criminal organization are very sophisticated and cunning. They rent a factory in a remote area with few people passing by and difficult access. Minh assigned people to guard, installed surveillance cameras, and raised dogs to detect intruders...
Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Vien, Director of Department C04, said that it can be assessed that this is a synthetic drug production facility with an exceptionally large scale, modern equipment lines, and advanced technology, the largest in Vietnam to be destroyed to date.
