(Baonghean.vn)- After successfully crossing the border and living in China, Quang returned to persuade"mountain girl"Get married for half a year and you will have 100 million dong.

On July 10, the Criminal Police Department (Nghe An Police) announced that Lo Thi Quang (39 years old) and Vi Thi Voi (24 years old) were prosecuted for human trafficking. Vi Thi Voi was released on bail because she is pregnant and raising a young child.

According to records, Quang has a husband and 3 children. After her husband passed away, she crossed the border to China to find a way to make a living.

In mid-April 2015, returning to his hometown in Tuong Duong district, Quang told Voi he wanted to find someone to go to China to get married. If successful, he would pay Voi a commission of 15 million VND per person. The person who agreed to go to China to get married would get 100 million VND.

Wandering around the mountainous districts of Nghe An, Voi met Lam (nearly 20 years old). Knowing the girl's family's difficult circumstances, Voi used sweet words to say "if you go to China to get married within half a year, you will receive 100 million VND".

When the victim agreed, at the end of April 2016, Voi took a car to take Lam to Mong Cai (Quang Ninh) and together with Quang took the victim across the border to China to sell her to a local man for more than 200 million VND. Quang then paid Voi 15 million VND in commission as promised and nearly 100 million VND for Voi to give to the victim's family.

After being a wife in a foreign country for half a year, but Quang and Voi did not bring her back to Vietnam as promised, the girl realized she had been deceived. In August 2016, taking advantage of her husband's family's negligence, Lam called her relatives in Vietnam for help.

Nghe An Criminal Police stepped in and helped the victim return to Nghe An in late 2016. By the end of June 2017, when Lo Thi Quang returned from China to Tuong Duong district, the police had taken control. Voi was also arrested later.

Defendant Quang mainly lives in China, occasionally returning to Vietnam. When questioned, both admitted their crimes./.
