Prosecuted 2 'speed demons' for weaving on National Highway
On March 12, the Investigation Police Agency of Yen Chau District Police (Son La) issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and issue an arrest warrant to detain Lo Van Lich and Lo Van Thanh for disturbing public order.
Accordingly, on February 21, a video clip appeared on Facebook recording images of two subjects Lo Van Lich (born in 1994) and Lo Van Thanh (born in 1998), both residing in Chieng Pan commune, Yen Chau district, driving a motorbike with license plate 26B2 - 56639 on National Highway 6 (in Dan village, Chieng Sang commune, Yen Chau district, in the direction of Hanoi - Son La).


These two subjects swerved, obstructed vehicles going in the same direction, and repeatedly cut in front of vehicles going in the opposite direction, endangering many road users. Immediately after receiving the above images, Yen Chau District Police quickly verified, summoned and clarified the subjects' actions.
Based on the behavior and seriousness of the incident, on March 12, the Investigation Police Agency of Yen Chau District Police issued a Decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and issue an Arrest Warrant to temporarily detain Lo Van Lich and Lo Van Thanh for the crime of "Disturbing public order" as prescribed in Article 318 of the Penal Code.
