Prosecuted 3 game addicts who robbed property in Vinh city

Previously, through the work of grasping the situation and receiving reports and denunciations of crimes from the people, Vinh City Police discovered a number of subjects riding motorbikes with illegal behavior.robberyon some routes in the area.

Considering the reckless and daring nature of the subjects, in order to quickly stabilize the security and order situation in the area, Vinh City Police have established a special project to fight and clarify. Because the time of the crime was at night, the subjects used motorbikes with removed license plates or used fake license plates, affecting identification... so the police force encountered many difficulties during the fight.

However, by applying synchronous professional measures, on January 9, 2025, Vinh City Police broke up the case, arresting 3 subjects Nguyen Van Tuan (born 2002), residing in Ky Tan commune, Tan Ky district; Nguyen Sy Ha (born 2007), residing in Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province; Dang Huu Phuoc (born 1995), residing in Nghi Trung commune, Nghi Loc district for the act of robbery.

During the investigation, the subjects initially confessed: They met each other through social networks, and because they were addicted to games and lacked money to spend, they decided to plan to rob people on the street. The subjects drove motorbikes with their license plates removed on deserted roads at night. When they saw the victims (mostly women) losing their vigilance, they would approach the motorbikes and commit the robbery.

With the above methods and tricks, the 3 subjects committed 4 robberies in Vinh city with the evidence of 3 motorbikes, 4 mobile phones, 1 handbag with a total property value of more than 100 million VND.

Currently, the case is being further investigated and expanded.
