Dak Lak Province Police have just decided to prosecute 5 subjects to investigate the act of robbing a young man's phone and selling it for money to drink.
On July 13, Dak Lak Provincial Police announced that the unit had decided to prosecute the case and prosecute 5 subjects to investigate the act of staging a robbery to get money to organize a drinking party.
The prosecuted subjects include Y Buôn Adrông (19 years old), Y Phin Byă (17 years old), Y Rê U Knul (15 years old), Y Sâm Dra Knul (15 years old), Y Khai Bkrông (16 years old), all residing in Ea Ktur commune (Dak Lak). The subjects are currently prohibited from leaving their place of residence.
In addition to the above 5 subjects, the police are continuing to investigate and consolidate records to handle 2 other subjects residing in Ea Ktur commune because they are related to the case.
Initial investigation results show that at around 3:00 p.m. on July 6, after drinking, the group invited each other to Ea Kao Lake in Ea Kao Ward, Dak Lak Province to play and pick fruit.
When they left, Y Nao brought a pair of metal scissors, and Y Phin brought a Thai knife.
After arriving at Ea Kao Lake, the group discovered Y Roel Eban (17 years old), residing in Buon Ma Thuot ward, sitting and playing with his cell phone, so the group agreed to rob the phone to pawn it for money to buy beer and drink.
After discussing, Y Nao and Y Phin approached Y Roel pretending to borrow his phone to call a friend, then Y Nao asked for the password to unlock it.
When she knew the password, Y Nao immediately took the phone and drove the motorbike carrying Y Phin away.
At this time, Mr. Y Roel chased after him and was hit in the face by the group, threatened with scissors and threw the car keys into the bushes.
After that, the group pawned the phone for 550,000 VND. The group used all the money to buy beer and eat.
