Prosecution and temporary detention of Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang
Ho Chi Minh City police have initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, and issued a temporary detention order against Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang (general director of Dai Nam Joint Stock Company) for abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State and the rights and interests of individuals.

Ho Chi Minh City Police have issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and issue a temporary detention order against Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang (General Director of Dai Nam Joint Stock Company) for the act of abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State, the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals according to Article 331 of the 2015 Penal Code, amended and supplemented in 2017.

The People's Procuracy at the same level has approved this decision.
At 7:55 p.m., the Ho Chi Minh City Police Information Portal announced that Nguyen Phuong Hang had taken advantage of her influence, used social networking functions on the internet, and organized many live broadcasts of unverified information related to other people's private lives. In which she used language that was insulting and insulting to the honor and dignity of others.
During the investigation, Nguyen Phuong Hang did not cooperate, disregarded the law, and repeatedly organized many people to gather at the private homes of individuals with conflicts, causing insecurity and disorder in Ho Chi Minh City and other localities.
Currently, the City Police are continuing to investigate and clarify the case to handle it in accordance with the provisions of the law.
Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency issued a decision to temporarily suspend Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang's exit from the country from February 16, 2022 to April 29, 2022.
From around March 2021 until now, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang has regularly livestreamed "calling the names" of many famous people.

In many livestreams, Ms. Hang "accused" many famous artists such as Hoai Linh, Dam Vinh Hung, Thuy Tien, Tran Thanh, MC Dai Nghia... of embezzling donations for the people of Central Vietnam affected by the 2020 floods.
Afterwards, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency investigated and concluded that these artists did not commit any fraudulent acts or appropriate charity money donated by people to help the people of Central Vietnam, so no criminal case was initiated.
In addition, Ho Chi Minh City Police also decided not to prosecute Mr. Vo Hoang Yen and artist Hoai Linh due to no signs of crime.
Ms. Hang was also accused by singer Dam Vinh Hung, singer Thuy Tien, singer Vy Oanh, Mr. Vo Hoang Yen, artist Hoai Linh, journalist Han Ni, journalist Duc Hien, Ms. Dinh Thi Lan... of slandering and humiliating others, taking advantage of democratic freedoms to infringe upon the rights and legitimate interests of organizations and citizens.
