Prosecution of lovers for spreading Covid-19 epidemic
Quy and Phuong did not comply with Covid-19 prevention regulations. Although they themselves had Covid-19, the subjects also resisted the forces at the epidemic control checkpoint.

On June 23, the People's Procuracy of Bac Ninh City issued a decision approving the decision to supplement the decision to prosecute the accused of the Investigation Police Agency of Bac Ninh City Police against Nguyen Van Quy, born in 1990, residing in Zone 7, Dai Phuc Ward, Bac Ninh City for the crime of "Spreading infectious diseases that endanger people", prescribed in Article 240 of the Penal Code.
The People's Procuracy of Bac Ninh City also approved the decision to prosecute the accused by the Investigation Police Agency of Bac Ninh City Police against Nguyen Thi Phuong, born in 1987, residing in Truong Xuan village, Lang Cong commune, Song Lo district, Vinh Phuc province for the crime of "Spreading infectious diseases that endanger people", stipulated in Article 240 of the Penal Code.
According to the investigation, Quy and Phuong had a romantic relationship. Although they knew that since May 24, Bac Ninh city raised the level ofepidemic preventionand implementing epidemic prevention measures (people do not go out after 8:00 p.m.), on May 26, Phuong still took a motorbike taxi from Hanoi to here and went to Quy's house in zone 7, Dai Phuc ward.
On June 3, Quy coughed a lot, had body aches, and showed signs of Covid-19, but did not go for testing and rented a room with Phuong in the area.
On the evening of June 10, Quy drove his motorbike through the Covid-19 prevention and control checkpoint on Au Co Street, Kinh Bac Ward. Here, Quy did not comply with the task force's request to present documents but blatantly challenged and threatened the police officers on duty. Quy repeatedly insulted and insulted the task force and turned his motorbike sideways, obstructing other vehicles from passing through the checkpoint.
Bac Ninh City Police controlled and took Quy to the police station for questioning. There, the force discovered that the subject tested positive for drugs; the Covid-19 test also gave a positive result. On June 12, Bac Ninh City Police issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Nguyen Van Quy for disturbing public order.
Regarding the defendant Phuong, the authorities determined that from May 28 to June 10, Phuong was in an epidemic area undergoing quarantine but did not comply. On June 10-11, Phuong came into contact with two men, causing both of them to contract Covid-19./.
