Prosecution of depraved subject who went to neighbor's house to sexually assault 8-year-old girl

On July 23, Tan Ky District Police (Nghe An) issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecuting defendant Mai Van Tuong (born 2003), residing in Tan Xuan Commune, Tan Ky District, for the crime of "raping a person under 16 years old".

According to initial information, on June 25, Mai Van Tuong went to his neighbor's house to play. There, he discovered that his father was away and his grandmother was sleeping in the house, so he had the intention of sexually assaulting NTBTr. (born 2011).

He took a sedge mat and spread it on the floor next to the bed and desk, enticing Tr. to have sexual intercourse. While he was doing it, a cousin of Tr. came and witnessed the whole thing. At this point, Tuong stopped and quickly left.

Afterwards, this cousin told Tr.’s father about the incident. Outraged by the neighbor’s brutal behavior, Tr.’s family went to the Tan Xuan Commune Police, Tan Ky District to report. During the investigation, Tan Ky District Police identified the suspect and made an emergency arrest.

At the police station, Tuong admitted all his crimes. Currently, the Tan Ky District Police have handed over all the files and the suspect to Nghe An Provincial Police for further investigation.
