The Investigation Police Agency of Tan Ky District Police (Nghe An) has just issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute the accused Truong Van Tam (born 1991), residing in Nha Tra hamlet, Dong Van commune, Tan Ky district, Nghe An province, for raping a neighbor girl.
Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on January 30, 2020, Truong Van Tam rode a motorbike with license plate number 37S2 - 0161 to a beer bar. On the way, Truong Van Tam met NTT (born in 2007) who lived in the same neighborhood, so Tam took T. with him to the beer bar. At 10:00 p.m., Tam took T. home. At this time, after being "drunk", the subject had the intention of "perverting" T.

When T. got on the motorbike, Truong Van Tam did not take her straight home but took her around the dam road to the cemetery area, in Nha Tra hamlet, Dong Van commune, Tan Ky district. This place was deserted and few people passed by, the subject raped T. even though T. tried to resist.
After receiving the complaint from NTT's family, determining that this was a very serious case, the Investigation Police Agency of Tan Ky District Police established a special project to concentrate forces to fight.
Using synchronous professional measures, the Special Task Force collected sufficient evidence, identifying the perpetrator as Truong Van Tam. Initially, at the investigation agency, the subject always denied the crime, however, with professional measures and the sharpness of the investigators, Truong Van Tam bowed his head and admitted his guilt. The subject confessed that because he was drunk, he could not control himself and had "animal instincts" towards T.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Tan Ky District has initiated a case and prosecuted Truong Van Tam for the crime of "Raping a person under 16 years old".
