Prosecution of the subject transporting 2 heroin cakes and more than 300 grams of crystal meth
During the search, the police discovered 2 heroin cakes and 1 bag of crystal meth weighing 313 grams being transported by the subject.
This morning (November 5), the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Dak Lak Province Police issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Tran Ngoc Minh, born in 1985, residing in Ky Anh District, Ha Tinh Province, to investigate the act of illegally transporting drugs.
On October 28, 2018, from a reported source, a working group of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police discovered Minh coming out of a motel in Giai Phong Street, Tan Thanh Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City with many suspicious signs.

Immediately after that, the police force approached and arrested Minh. Seeing the police force, Minh threw away his bag and ran away in an attempt to escape. However, due to careful preparation in advance, the task force quickly surrounded and arrested Minh.
During the search, the police discovered 2 heroin cakes and 1 bag of crystal meth weighing 313 grams, all carefully wrapped in plastic bags and hidden in the subject's travel bag.
At the police station, Minh initially confessed that he was hired to transport the drugs for an unidentified stranger in Binh Duong province to Buon Ma Thuot city to deliver to another person named Hung. This person promised to pay Minh 10 million VND after completing the job.
While waiting to deliver the drugs to a man named Hung, Minh was arrested by the police along with the evidence. Minh has two previous convictions for intentional injury and illegal drug trafficking.
The case is being further investigated and handled by authorities in Dak Lak according to the provisions of law.
