Director of company prosecuted for illegally exploiting 200,000 m³ of land.
The company headed by Nguyen Dinh Van has extracted over 200,000 m³ of soil outside its designated boundaries, with the estimated value of the extracted minerals exceeding 6 billion VND.
On February 12th, the Bac Giang Provincial Police announced that the Criminal Investigation Agency had issued a decision.initiate legal proceedings.The court has initiated criminal proceedings against Nguyen Dinh Van (born in 1986, Director of Luc Giang Son Construction and Trading Company Limited) for violating regulations on resource exploitation.
The People's Procuratorate of Bac Giang province has approved the above decisions.
Previously, the police investigated and verified information regarding suspected violations of resource exploitation laws in the Bo Lay area, Phu Xuyen village, Phuong Son commune, Luc Ngan district (now Phu Bong residential area, Phuong Son ward, Chu town, Bac Giang province) by Luc Giang Son Construction and Trading Company Limited.
Through investigation, the Bac Giang Provincial Police determined that Luc Giang Son Construction and Trading Company Limited had illegally exploited a large volume of minerals outside the permitted boundaries, approximately over 200,000 m³ of soil, with an estimated value of over 6 billion VND, causing a loss of state revenue. This act violates the law on resource exploitation.
The Investigation Police Department of Bac Giang province continues to investigate and clarify the violations committed by individuals and organizations involved in order to handle them according to the law.
