On April 9, the Investigation Police Agency - Luc Nam District Police (Bac Giang) issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and issue an arrest warrant to detain Nguyen Huu Dung (born in 1994, residing in Khang Ninh village, Quynh Trang commune, Quynh Phu district, Thai Binh province) and prohibit Nguyen Thi Nguyet (born in 1997), wife of Nguyen Huu Dung, from leaving her place of residence for the crime of "fraudulent appropriation of property".

Conducting verification from the information and documents collected, on April 4, the Department of Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention, Provincial Police coordinated with units of Luc Nam District Police, the Provincial Police Technical Department to fight, destroy and arrest two subjects with the behavior of "Fraudulent appropriation of property", namely Nguyen Huu Dung and Nguyen Thi Nguyet.

During the urgent search of the residences and workplaces of these subjects, the authorities seized: 5 computers of various types, 13 mobile phones of various types and many related objects and documents...

At the investigation agency, Dung confessed that he was the one who imported and packed the goods, while Nguyet would post advertisements on social networking sites.

To attract buyers, the two subjects advertised the device's features incorrectly. Accordingly, the device that the two subjects imported only had the function of locating and recording, but the subjects advertised it as having the function of monitoring phone numbers and tracking Zalo and Messenger messages.

Using the above trick, from September 2022 to now, these two subjects have sold over 5,000 orders with a total value of 8 billion VND to customers nationwide.

Currently, the Department of Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention and Luc Nam District Police continue to coordinate to investigate and verify to expand the case.
