Prosecution of 'hot girl' for using electric baton to rob property

On May 5, the Investigation Police Agency - Hoa Vang District Police (Da Nang City) announced that it had initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, and temporarily detained Phung Thi Bich Huong (born in 1997, residing in Cam Nam village, Hoa Chau commune, Hoa Vang district) for 4 months for the act of "Robbery".

After receiving initial information from the investigation agency, the People's Procuracy of Hoa Vang district assigned the Prosecutor to coordinate with the Investigator to closely monitor the case file and the period of detention of Huong according to the law.

Based on reviewing the evidence in the case file, the People's Procuracy of Hoa Vang district approved the above decisions of the investigation agency.

Previously, at around 6:00 p.m. on April 25, taking advantage of the time when Ngo Thi Thien (born in 1940, residing in Tay An, Hoa Chau commune, Hoa Vang district) was away, Huong broke into the house and stole property.

As soon as he returned home and discovered a burglar, Mr. Thien immediately shouted for help, but Huong used an electric baton hidden on her person to attack him, robbed him of 10 million VND in his pocket, and quickly escaped.

At 9:00 p.m. the same day, Huong was arrested by the police while wandering on the road along the Cau Do River (Hoa Tho Tay ward, Cam Le district, Da Nang city).

At the investigation agency, Huong confessed that because she was short of money, she broke into Mr. Thien's house to steal.

It is known that Huong's family and the victim's family are in-laws, Huong's sister is the wife of Mr. Thien's grandson.
