Prosecution of young man who hit and killed traffic police major
Receiving a signal to stop the car when entering the highway, Truong did not comply, stepped on the gas and drove into the working group, causing the death of a major.
On December 2, Thai Nguyen City Police announced that they had decided to prosecute the case and prosecute Hoang Van Truong (24 years old, residing in Dai Tu district, Thai Nguyen) for the act of Resisting a person on official duty.

According to the police, at around 9am on November 30, Truong drove a motorbike carrying Truong Van Dao (23 years old) onto the Hanoi – Thai Nguyen highway towards Hanoi. When he reached Km66 (through Quyet Thang commune, Thai Nguyen city), he encountered a working group of the Traffic Police Department on duty.
Upon discovering the violation, Major Tran Van Vang signaled for the motorbike to stop. Knowing that he was entering a prohibited road and not wearing a helmet or a driver's license, Truong accelerated and hit Major Vang, causing the victim to collapse on the spot. Truong and Dao were also taken to Thai Nguyen A Hospital for emergency treatment immediately afterwards.
Major Vang was hospitalized in a coma, with a broken jaw and forehead, and a broken left forearm; due to severe injuries, he died at 5:00 p.m. on November 30.

On December 1, the Minister of Public Security decided to promote the rank of Major to Lieutenant Colonel for Mr. Tran Van Vang (42 years old).
The Hanoi - Thai Nguyen Expressway started construction in November 2009 with a total length of 63.8 km through three localities: Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen. This route prohibits motorbikes and non-motorized vehicles.
